THE CONQUEST OF MOUNT COOK - Freda Du Faur, George Allen & Unwin, London, First Ed., 1915, original tan cloth & gilt titles, gilt is fine though background black faded/speckled as is common, tan boards sound, internally some foxing otherwise fine, B&W plates, Classic account of Freda's climbs in New Zealand including first grand traverse of Aoraki Mount Cook with Peter Graham. This copy originally owned by Theo Tomlinson...a gift from Len Bank May 1915 inscribed as such on title page - but, importantly, when later owned by Kiwi climber Isobel Wills she has had it signed by both Peter and Alec Graham in January 1939, strangely on the last page of the book. It is rare to have a book signed by both of the Graham brothers $NZ700
