The book is filled with her own blue-tinted sketches. Pares was a noted artist, most famous for her 400+ detective novel jacket art. She also did the cover art for Shipton's famous mountain books. I have yet to find a VG+ copy of this scarce book...and strangely, have never seen one with a jacket - $NZ65.
